Each of its own Hampusw,

My knowledge in regard of the two brands is on par with the knowledge of a baby.

But I have had my chances to see and try them in person, and I can say both watches are among the most beautiful watches I have seen in my life.

If I were you, I will keep the PP for formal wear and purchase the diver for more laid back occasions.

Anyway, good luck and have fun in deciding.

Best regards,
ryan

Got this sweet PP right now, but considering the Diver... What do you guys think?...

Diver [nt]

Tough choice but it's the AP Forum down here :-)

If you can't have both, I would try to get the Diver. IMO, the Diver looks much more modern and masculine than the PP and you won't take to much risk with the AP: we all know here that the RO or ROO design will never go out of fashion In any case, after d...

Although I never like the Aquanuat.

However using your photo as a reference. I would choose the Aquanuat so the sole reason that it looks better when using it as a dress watch. If you want an all out sport watch then I'll pick the Diver. Best Tyler

I personnally prefer the Diver and I would of course try to keep both. Best regards, George

Diver!

Hmm. I'd vote for the Diver too...

even though the Aquanuat is a very nice watch and more versatile. Best, Goh

Diver.....

however are you going for a sporty look or a combination of dressy/sporty..?? There is also the black faced RO 15300 which has the same movement but a bit smaller but also dressy/sporty. Just to throw a spanner in the works too..!! I only throw this in as...

It all depends on your lifestyle...

If you are more classy and elegant, then keep the Aquanaut. If on the other hand you are more adventurous and laid back, then by all means the Diver. On a side note, the Diver you are showing on your post has a couple of curious details that differ from t...

Hey Alex and Andy and everyone else

Hey Alex, Thanks for that. I am definitely more laid back as a person an in my style so I guess a Diver would be in it's place. The watch I'm wearing on the picture is not in fact a Diver but a Wempe/Scuba that came out a few years ago. I know they have t...

I'm hoping to see the skeleton soon too as a friend is getting one. My only concern with the Diver is the size...I believe it's the same size to the ROO and I would prefere a bit more on the dial for that size, where the 15300 RO has the perfect size of e...

Alex my friend, I couldn't have said it any better.

Great to read you, Patrick!

How's 2011 treating you? I wish you the best for this year (and those that will follow as well, of course!). Tell me, how's your choice for a Patek coming along? See you soon in Vegas! Alex

Likewise Alex!

2011 has been pretty mediocre so far, but I think that will change in the long term. Thank you for your well wishes, I too think 2011 will be the year. The Patek is coming slowly, a little too slowly for my tastes. There are other things that aren't even ...

the AP ROO Diver is special

I'd opt for the AP.... do let us know what you do. J

This is a very difficult question.

 By: foversta : January 5th, 2011-13:37
My heart goes to the AP because I was really seduced by the Diver: I love its dial, its hands, the feeling I had when I wore it. But the Aquanaut is also a very nice watch, a bit underrated in people's mind in my point of view. One is more "bulky", the ot...

Diver is obviously more handsome and would look very nice on your wrist on weekends, off time, around ladies. Aquanaut is, on the other hand, is very nice on weekdays on business, when you meet a bit of "higher class" clients, etc. Or spending off time or...

Roo Diver Hands Down

 By: GoJu : January 23rd, 2011-03:49
The PP is a different class of watch - excellent but different. The ROO Diver is an excellent diver's watch. The internal bezel is a particularly good feature. For me, it's 'apples and oranges' and since I'm a collector of (mostly) watches for divers, the...

Both are great time pieces but...

judging from the pictures, the AP definitely looks better on your wrist. The PP seems a little small on you.
